A Great Lunch Hour

This is a week old now, but still exciting. Last Saturday I went to work. On my lunch hour, I went to a big chain bookstore. I'd reserved a copy of Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final installment in the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series. After wrapping my book in my sweater (so I didn't get finger prints on the cover) I went up the street to the frozen yogurt store. Got myself some lunch, and then sat outside on their patio. And cracked open a book I'd been waiting eight months to read. Could there possibly be a better lunch hour?

Speaking of general dorkiness, this one of the graphic design kind, what yogurt store did you go to? I'm likin' their logo.

Oh and M's college buddy Chad is writing a script for consideration for the planned television series of Twilight. If you have any opinions of Twilight matter that you feel must be included in the tv show, I might be able to bend his ear.

It's a local place, called Cafe Delatti. A Google search will turn up their website, which, I have reason to know, is also pretty, but low in the "functionality" department.

Hm. I am initially skeptical of a Twilight TV venture. I mean, I don't know much about turning books into television series, but it seems like you'd ultimately have to start making up new material, right? Hm. I'd check it out, if it was on TV. I'd go in with a skeptic's eye though. It'd be an uphill climb, for me to like it. :)

Hey, congrats on concluding your summer semester! I forgot to tell you that, I think.

Twilight TV: I do know that Chad has read the books (that's a step in the right direction, right?). He thinks it'll make for a great series. If it's any consolation, he's a fan's fan. So I'd like to think that he'll do his best to give something for the fans to enjoy. If not, I have some compromising photos of him from past wedding that we might be able to employ for the pursuit of good TV. I think that's a worthy cause for blackmail, right?
