Because Jim posted his pictures

Here are some of the rituals we enact at the Los Gatos Public Library. I'm not totally sure if the copying and pasting of pictures is going to work well from flickr, but you can go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/losgatoslibrary/
and see some hokeying and pokeying action. And "Stay Awake Sally," which, if you haven't already read it, I'd totally recommend.

p.s. I'm going to have to speak to someone about the differences between people named "jen" and people named "jenn." :)

those look like some serious hokey-pokeyers. makes me feel proud that they are going to run our country for us one day...

hey jenn! that Los Gatos Public Library Flyer looks pretty cool. Is there more to the flyer like text or is it just the line art? Is it 8.5x11 or poster size? From the bit I see, it looks like a nice piece of illustration possibly... screenprinted?

You know, I don't know the history of that illustration. It's the cover of our "Welcome to the Library" packet, which is 8.5 x 11 folded in half, the long way. I'll send you one.

Jenn, love the hokey-pokey images--one gets a sense of the action but is not made dizzy (in relearning the hokey pokey myself I've discovered all sorts of inner-ear fun)--glad the photo inspired... (speaking of which, the first one was accidentally deleted, thus the one sans B).
